All Sea Food Must Fry - Part II
Someone pointed me to this http://www.nytimes.com/2006/08/06/us/06coast.html?ex=1312516800&en=e33d3103893381e1&ei=5088&partner which gives a more complete explanation of why the dead zone is there. There is not an explanation as to why the currents don't seem to carry this along though.
