The Peace Of Islam

The next time someone you know, or do not know, says how “peaceful” Islam is remind them of the assignation of Bhutto. A woman, unarmed, not a threat to anyone in particular gunned down proving what we have known all along. Islam is more likely to kill non-combatants, women and children than in killing solders of any military machine.

Weather it is the twin towers of 9-11, bombings in Oklahoma, or bombings against a countries consulate the number of women and children out numbers solders they have killed on the battle fields.

So tell me again how begin the religion of Islam is, this slayer of the innocent, the butcher of the masses.

That is our opinion, which the Second Amendment says we can have.

Santa And The DHS

Again this year Santa has teamed with the NSA to find out who is naughty and who is nice, though there is also a new wrinkle. It seems that the Department Of Homeland Security and the Federal Aviation Administration have also forced offers of assistance.

They want to know who is receiving what, how much, the prices paid, the selections that were not filled and all personal; data from Santa’s Christmas list.

In an corporation exchange Santa has given his secrets of how he manages to:

  • Go into houses that have no chimneys.
  • Land both his reindeer and his slay on pitched roofs.
  • Cover the entire globe in a single night, including the International Date Line.
  • Pack all of the gifts for everyone in a single bag without setting the level of gravity in the sleigh off.
Additional secrets involving the other elves will remain secret for now however all of YOUR personal information has been given up already.

Here is to Christmas paranoia!

What The President Knew Before 911

Thi is the Presidents day Brief that was given prior to the murders 911 attracts on US soil. As yo9u recall the 011 commission said that having this brief should have alerted everyone on staff about the "eminent" attacks.

Ms. Rice deferred and brought up a member of the panel short about it. so you read and decide. We think that once again this is a case of the Democrats and Her Royal Crankiness in particular sling mud to cover their overt acts of treacheries.

When A Trend Is Not Globeal

One of the local TV stations found valid local weather data that goes back 150 years here, Portland Oregon. And the results are a bit confusing in the light of the hysteria of the globe getting warmer.

So from 1857 to present the amount of snowfall has been less each year, on average, which means that while there have been spikes. As in 1958, the trend is for less snowfall here each year. Something that is being missed by the "green, live in filth" crowed. You know the ones that urge us all to live in the refuse of others so we can all feel good about living in and amongst trash.

There are some things to note though:
1. The ice in the center of Greenland is getting taller
2. The ice in Antarctica is getting taller
3. The ice on the largest volcano in Africa is melting form the sun directly.
4. The ice on Mt. Hood is melting from underneath (the mountain is getting hotter).
5. In the last 20 years there are 40 new volcano's either on land or in the ocean.
6. There are more active volcanoes now than in the previous 500 years.

So it appears that the lessening of snowfall in this area, at least, is a trend and a trend that humans did not create.

So how do we tell me Gore that the trophy is nice and the award looks good on the wall but he got it all wrong?

That's our take.

California Burning

The Sana Anna hills have caught fire again, like they do every year, and they have cremated houses, like they do every year, and the fire is as large as New York, sounds like the fire of 1956. Sad fact is the Sana Anna hills catch fire all of the time so who is at fault with this mess.

Land use planning because land use planners saw no reason, like fire, not to build there, This is what happens when someone from California gets a good idea, laws are passed, actions taken, people lose everything. So the land use planners should have to pay the bill because they allowed a use that shouldn't have been and now we all have to pay money to "fix".

How about this, let’s set some land use planners afire and then the fun will really begin!

That's how we see it.

Another Round

After reading a book and doing some research on the great war, also known as WWI, my master offers the following original poem.

Another Round
A Reflection On The Great War 1914-1918 AD
A soft rain fell
As we walked into hell
On that cold November morning.

Where machine gun bullets and artillery blasts
Tore the flesh from our bones
Men by the score died without warning.

The wounded lay where they fell
For how long no one could tell
Some died of their wounds in a ditch.

Night came at last
A welcomed end to the blast
To the enemy positions the dead pointed the way.

They died bravely they say
They died every day
In four years the dead numbered nine million.

Wars are fought over tin
The love of a woman
Philosophy and resources.

We will do this again
It's as common as wind
So shall we begin another?

Sherman Lackey

That sums up our thoughts.

Stickem Up Portland!

One of the powers that be wants to add a street charge to the Portland Oregon city sewer bill to the tune of 4.75 per month plus a 3 cent a gallon fuel tax for cars and trucks. Tri Met busses and city vehicles are naturally exempt from this as are government buildings.

So let’s look at this because in ten years they want to “raise” 352 million bucks for the repair of major streets, street lights and a few bridges. This doesn’t apply to state and county roads that are in the city and means that 35 million 200 thousand dollars will be diverted from local businesses and local persons to government.

The city already gets money from the state and property tax for streets, though they don’t say exactly how they spend it, they say they need more. The real message here is that Portland misuses its money, hats businesses and loathes single families, but single rich yuppies are okdokie.

The powers that be don’t want businesses to give their workers raises, or bonuses, or pay a living wage, which is why they like illegal aliens which pay this sort of thing without questioning.

We predict that with such a outlay by an oppressive government business will leave Portland Oregon, small family run shops first, forcing the workforce to seek employment outside of Portland . As people cutback their driving the money stream will drop which in turn will cause a drop in the revenue that Portland receives.

It is not enough for elected officials to say that they need more money without explaining just why the department head of the transportation department makes 10 grand more than the median wage of the Portland Population. If wages for city workers are not greater than the median wage (average as opposed to the rich) then the money to fix the infrastructure will be there without a raise in taxes or the creation of new taxes.

Course they could just sell bonds or take the money out of the general fund but that would be the smart thing to do wouldn’t it?

That’s how we see it.

How Do We Know What We Know As Applied To Politices

Based on the Rumsfeld dialog with the press on the known, unknown, unknown knowns and known unknowns. We offer the following in an attempt to understand the epistemology of it all.
How do we know what is and what is not, that is how do we know that we know what it is that we know. If we know only what we think we know then is what we know actual or are we not knowing and filling in the blanks for what we think we know but what we know isn’t what we really know at all?

Fiction is based on what we might know if we knew what it is that we know but what if we don’t know what it is that we know but instead know things that we don’t know? How do we then tell fact apart form fiction? Don’t bother asking the senator from New York that is running for the office of president as they clearly have issues with what is known and instead aspire to the unknown weather or not it is known or not.

Perhaps we know what it is that we know by separating the known into two different pieces, the phenomenal (things we can’t see or test but believe anyway) and the noumena (that which we can see and test). This is different than inductive reasoning and deductive reasoning that rest on a foundation which is self evident and can be a landmine for political candidates which is why they tend to avoid it.

In this way we have things we can explain and things we can sort of explain. Then as we are able to test for more and test these things we can then know more as opposed to knowing less.

Then normal people have no issues with not knowing the known and they explain the unknown by ideas like prayer and miracles where as political canidates only know what is known and have no explanation of what they don’t know. Members of the press that are aware of the restriction of what the known unknown’s then baffle the candidate with the unknown known because of the phenomenal/noumena separation.

So how can we then know that the noumena even exist? Good question for another time, just remember not to ask the candidate to answer a question containing an unknown known or a known unknown as they will wax eloquent about anything and everything else and not answer the question. Why you ask, because they only know the known and are completely unaware of the phenomenal.

That’s how we see it.

Portland Oregon - A cess Pool by Another Name

We offer this, http://www.portlandtribune.com/news/story.php?story_id=118522686140313400, as proof that he elected officials in the city of Portland Oregon are both non responsive and uncaring about Federal law and the community in which they serve.

By defying the United States Constitution and the laws under it they become complacent in aiding criminals and criminal activity.
Portland Oregon is becoming a cesspool of human failures led by the, in our opinion, the incompetent.

Portland Oregon Just Loves Criminals

Last month Federal Impregnation authorities arrested over one hundred illegal persons working and living in Portland Oregon. The mayor made a statement or two. What we infer from those comments is that in Portland Oregon it is considered ok to break into a person’s home, rob them, plunder them, steal from them and even murder them.
In fact the mayor of the city made it clear that he thinks that Federal laws are a bunch of nonsense. We presume he also means the United States Constitution and the Oregon Constitution as well.
So all criminals in the world now know that Portland Oregon is a safe heaven for all of you.

Lovely!

Oregon State Leading Bio Fuels Myth

There is a myth that the State of Oregon is on the leading edge of Alternative Fuels (AF) production and sales. The fact is that currently there is only a single Biodiesel production plant in the sate, one under construction and two Ethanol production plants. While there are less than 50 places to purchase both.

We contend that if Oregon really were on the leading edge then we would have 20 production plants and 200 places to purchase the stuff.

What we do have is a lot of otherwise, until they were elected, bright legislature types that are the next best thing to a dead boat anchor. See our research below.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Biodiesel Production Plants Under Construction or Expansion http://www.nbb.org/buyingbiodiesel/producers_marketers/ProducersMap-Construction.pdf

There are no, zero, none, zilch BQ-9000 Accredited Producers in Oregon state at his time.

Biodiesel Production: 105 Plants producing biodisel now with new Construction 77 and Expansion 8. Oregon's total is two, one of each.

Ethanol Production: are listed here http://www.ethanolrfa.org/industry/locations/ Notice Oregon only currently produces 108 million gallons a year. However are only three service stations in Oregon to purchase it at. http://afdcmap2.nrel.gov/locator/FindNearResult.asp
While there are 40 stations to purchase Biodiesel from.
Far less that the states that are actually on the leading edge, like Illinois or Minnesota, or Texas for instance. http://afdcmap2.nrel.gov/locator/FindNearResult.asp.

WHEREAS it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favour; and Whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me "to recommend to the people of the United States a DAY OF PUBLICK THANSGIVING and PRAYER, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness:" NOW THEREFORE, I do recommend and assign THURSDAY, the TWENTY-SIXTH DAY of NOVEMBER next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty which we have since enjoyed;-- for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enable to establish Constitutions of government for our sasety and happiness, and particularly the national one now lately instituted;-- for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge;-- and, in general, for all the great and various favours which He has been pleased to confer upon us.

And also, that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions;-- to enable us all, whether in publick or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually; to render our National Government a blessing to all the people by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed; to protect and guide all sovereigns and nations (especially such as have shewn kindness unto us); and to bless them with good governments, peace, and concord; to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us; and, generally to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as he alone knows to be best.

It Must Be Friday If You Can Sing This Song

If you can sing this song it must be friday

Words and Music By Mike Cross

Well a Scotsman clad in kilt left a bar on evening fair
And one could tell by how we walked that he drunk more than his share
He fumbled round until he could no longer keep his feet
Then he stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
He stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street

About that time two young and lovely girls just happend by
And one says to the other with a twinkle in her eye
See yon sleeping Scotsman so strong and handsome built
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath the kilt
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath the kilt

They crept up on that sleeping Scotsman quiet as could be
Lifted up his kilt about an inch so they could see
And there behold, for them to see, beneath his Scottish skirt
Was nothing more than God had graced him with upon his birth
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
Was nothing more than God had graced him with upon his birth

They marveled for a moment, then one said we must be gone
Let's leave a present for our friend, before we move along
As a gift they left a blue silk ribbon, tied into a bow
Around the bonnie star, the Scots kilt did lift and show
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
Around the bonnie star, the Scots kilt did lift and show

Now the Scotsman woke to nature's call and stumbled towards a tree
Behind a bush, he lift his kilt and gawks at what he sees
And in a startled voice he says to what's before his eyes.
O lad I don't know where you been but I see you won first prize
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
O lad I don't know where you been but I see you won first prize

And That is how we see it.

Misunderstanding, or Just Plain Ignorant?

In the light of the speaker of the House gallivanting around the globe undermining the U.S. State Department, we are wondering if they have missed the point of a speech that was given on September 13, 2001 by the current sitting president.

"We will not only deal with those who dare attack America, we will deal with those who harbor them and feed them and house them.” This explains how we got into Iraq to begin with and why we will not negotiate with Syria or Iran. Full text of the speech can be found here, http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2001/09/20010915-4.html

It appears that the speaker of the house is interfering with the executive branch, something they have accused the executive branch of doing to the legislative branch. Odd thing when one is so stuck on ones self that the obvious is missed.

Do You Really Need That TV Set?

In a year or two the way that television signals are sent will change, read more here http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2007/03/13/MNGRHOK7S01.DTL. Question is, do we all really need to receive digital idiot box signals?

Here is my masters plan, when the analog thing quits he uses the TV for movies via the VCR and CD player. Also he can use a PlayStation or an Nintendo or some such. News can be received over the Internet, five minutes to get the same tired old stuff that broadcasters now take an hour to push out.

No advertisers gunk or other time wasters. Might even take up book reading all the while wondering just why it is we have people starving in the cold when congress sets aside 900 million plus for a singe entertainment system?

That's how we see it.

Sun Responsible for Global Warming

Yes there is doubt about the human contribution, if any, to global warming. Now we have scientific proof and I'll just bet that Al "inconvenient" will dispute it. It wouldn't be in the interest of the DNC, left of center, or other "haters of Democracy" to insist on truth.

Seven Thousand Square Feet of Non Livability

Want to make your town or city totally unlivable with lots of congestion and crime? Then take a page out of the book of Portland Oregon and set the density to seven thousand square feet. With a 4 foot set back on the back and side of lots and a 10 foot foot set back on the front. Allow for two story home and three story apartments and demand back filling.

Works so well that Portland has, on average so far in 2007, a murder a week, a mugging every other day and roads that are all but impassable four hours of every day. So kill your town, become upscale and up and coming!

Be a Portland! I dare ya.

That’s how I see it.

Decomratic Congress 100 Hours plus on

Now that the first 100 hours has come and gone for the democratic controlled congress just what can we expect for the next 2 years?

Well, higher inflation, more unemployment, higher taxes, and not very much in the way of intelligence. How do we know this?

Because this is what we get every time we have a democratic controlled congress, every time.

That is how we see it. Remember what ever you were going to do in January, better get it done soon the month is all but over.

Higher Gas Coming To A Pump Near You, Soon

The House of the US congress today voted to go after "big oil" and their "profits". They are seeking to reclaim "missed" royalties due to poorly written oil lease agreement for domestic oil. This happened during the last part of the last democratic Presidential term.

What this means for all of us is higher gas prices at the pump because as we all know taxes and lost incentives are passed along to the consumer

Hail Ten dollar a gallon milk!

Thought they promised to do better things instead of the same old rob an pillage which they have been doing since 1933.

That's our current Second Amendment rights so stated.

So what can we expect of the new Democratic controlled congress? How about making anyone who has an political opinion and or criticizes congress a criminal. While some worry that the president has violated our first amendment rights this definitely does.
