Governing Like A Dictator

It is possible for the president of the United States to govern like a dictator. These are called Executive Orders and they are not debated in the public forum. All presidents have used them, to some degree, though Democrat presidents seem to make more of them than Republican presidents.

Members of congress are not consulted, indeed, the only thing needed is the signature of a sitting president. This is how Al Gore got so many Executive Orders passed in the last months in the final year of the Clinton administration.

Obama promised us a change in how government is conducts business. After viewing his first Executive Orders it looks like governance as usual. No change from the status quoe, as is evidenced from his first Executive Orders found at the link below.

A Better Way to Stimulate the Economy

We have a better way to stimulate the economy with information that the government already has on file. Use their information from the IRS to give all taxpayers, who made less than forty thousand dollars last year, a check for three hundred thousand dollars.

This makes more sense than a first read will grant. The median wage in the US is now forty thousand dollars. People that make More do not need more because they can already afford what they need. People that earn less need the money for the basics, some of which need replacing.

With three hindered thousand dollars they can:

  1. pay off the house.
  2. Pay off the car and buy a new one.
  3. pay off their credit cards.
  4. put a third of the money in the bank, giving the bank money to lend.

This makes way more sense than the current idea, which will fail.

That is what we think.

Will the US Constitution Surrive The Oregon Govenor

With new policies and tax generation ideas proposed by the current Oregon state Governor, we have just one question:

Will the US Constitution Survive The Oregon Governor!?

We think not, read the following, before the loss of the 2ed Amendment to the US Constitution becomes a fact. Which it might, given that the current Speaker of the House has limited a 100 years old tradition of debate prior to bills passing in the US House of Representatives, to no debate.

This leaves 200 million American citizens without any representation at all. Bringing to light our observations that elected Democrats lie.

Something To Think About

Our new president elect has made much about his "humble" beginnings. Yet in checking the data of presidential origins, he comes from much less humble origins that does either Gerald Ford or Andrew Johnson.

Check out the Republican convention of 1888. Melvin Douglass was the first African/American to get votes for the office of President of the United States of America.

So the best BHO can do is claim the "first" of the 21st century.

That is our exercise of the first Amendment for this first day of 2009.
