In the presidential race Iowa really does not matter because the front-runner was determined as soon as HRC settled in New York and became a senator. In fact for the past eight years the DNC has been abiding their time in order to run HRC as president of the US of A.
What all the brew haha is a bout is finding a running mate that can be groomed for the next election after this one. So the focus here is less on who will the DNC run for president, that is pre-determined to be HRC, and more on who will be best for the second position.
That is how we see it.
