US Senate Is Obstructing, Again

The House of Representatives passes a good tax measure/funding bill. The Senate passes a bad tax/funding bill. It would appear that the Senate is not going to do the will of the people, which is a shame.

We wonder what the Senate has against the people they are supposed to represent, but wait, they represent special interests, and the unions - not us.

Proposed 2012 Budget - Or What To Cut

The link below is to the proposed 2012 budget for the United States Of America.  Pretend that you are in charge, and you want to balance the budget without raising personal income taxes or other fees.

What would you cut,and why. Keep in mind that we only spend 2% GDP on the military. While using NASA to create a moon base, while at the same time devolving a heavy lift space vehicle to get there and back in 10 years would create around 500 thousand jobs directly and a million more (given how money is spread around, so we are talking UPS drivers, computer makers, support teams grocery store workers and such).
