When A Trend Is Not Globeal

One of the local TV stations found valid local weather data that goes back 150 years here, Portland Oregon. And the results are a bit confusing in the light of the hysteria of the globe getting warmer.

So from 1857 to present the amount of snowfall has been less each year, on average, which means that while there have been spikes. As in 1958, the trend is for less snowfall here each year. Something that is being missed by the "green, live in filth" crowed. You know the ones that urge us all to live in the refuse of others so we can all feel good about living in and amongst trash.

There are some things to note though:
1. The ice in the center of Greenland is getting taller
2. The ice in Antarctica is getting taller
3. The ice on the largest volcano in Africa is melting form the sun directly.
4. The ice on Mt. Hood is melting from underneath (the mountain is getting hotter).
5. In the last 20 years there are 40 new volcano's either on land or in the ocean.
6. There are more active volcanoes now than in the previous 500 years.

So it appears that the lessening of snowfall in this area, at least, is a trend and a trend that humans did not create.

So how do we tell me Gore that the trophy is nice and the award looks good on the wall but he got it all wrong?

That's our take.

Egor.
