When flying in an aircraft they ask you to turn off your cell, phone, pda, ipod or other device during take off and landing. So don't blame the pilot, just be safe.

How does an airplane fly ? Good question and look what we found, the Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge, on line yet. Where is this thing you ask, well it is here http://www.faa.gov/pilots/training/handbook/.

Be aware that it is in PDF form so you will need a program that reads PDF documents. But all of the flying questions are answered in this book.
