Crime With A Political Mask

Look at the chart at the link below, then ask this question. What does a purely political movement, that allegedly represents 99% of the 300 million of us, have to gain by proving just how bad they can be:

http://chicksontheright.com/2011/11/17/handy-crime-chart-for-ows/

It seems to us that they are really the 25% criminals, thugs for the lack of a better word, that scream 1st Amendment, when all they really are is evil.

Notice the lack of coverage around other political groups and crime? Perhaps if the Occupy movement was a real political movement they would quit the crime spree that they are on, and be more constructive instead, For instance, they should embrace the 21st century, and leave the 18th century where it is.

That is how we see it.

Should Government Get A Raise When Others Go Without?c

The headline reads:

"Portland Public Schools out of step in share of employees earning $75,000 to $95,000"

Read the full story here:

http://www.oregonlive.com/education/index.ssf/2011/11/portland_public_schools_out_of.html

Our comments are thus:

Government needs to reduce spending,by capping costs. That may mean that the Public Employee Unions will have 6to settle for a bit less for their members.

Question what would the Portland Public school district expenses, and deficit, look like if the most an employee would make were $50,000.00 dollars a year?  Would taxes have 6to be raised, or schools closed, in order to meet the payroll?

Just asking.

Same Old Slop

My master is reading a good book, "A Godly Hero" by Michael Kazin. Here is what my master has learned so far.

The general election of 1896 a single person advocated, among other things.
  • Cheeping the money supply, to give lower wage earners more money.
  • Graduated Income tax, to rob the rich.
  • Arbitration among nations, to settle differences in lieu of going to war.

The result is, after filtering through the administrations of Wilson, Roosevelt, Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, and Clinton:

  • Cheeping of the money supply drives up the cost of living and inflation. Hurting the people who work for a living. This makes rich people richer.
  • Graduated income tax, gives an average income to people who refuse to work. If they were to work they would not need public money.
  • Arbitration among nations to settle disputes, the UN does not work. This idea is as failed as that other great Democrat idea - Prohibition.

Remember, if it a Democrat it is against you.

Income Tax should not be greater, for anyone, than two percent. We do not need a national sales tax to provide government with more money that they waste.

We need to abandon the UN, this institution does not work, get rid of it.

Make the money supply more valuable, begin with not printing one dollar bills. Use the hard currency we already have.

That is our opinion.

A Reminder

As the Town Of Frisday Harbor Washington raises the Storm Water rate to $14.83. My master would like to remind the good people of Friday Harbor that he voted against the Storm Water ordenance. He knew this kind of excess would happen and wanted to be no part of it, ever.

Santa And The DHS

Again this year Santa has teamed with the NSA to find out who is naughty and who is nice, though there is also a new wrinkle. It seems that the Department Of Homeland Security and the Federal Aviation Administration have also forced offers of assistance.

They want to know who is receiving what, how much, the prices paid, the selections that were not filled and all personal; data from Santa’s Christmas list.

In an corporation exchange Santa has given his secrets of how he manages to:

  • Go into houses that have no chimneys.
  • Land both his reindeer and his slay on pitched roofs.
  • Cover the entire globe in a single night, including the International Date Line.
  • Pack all of the gifts for everyone in a single bag without setting the level of gravity in the sleigh off.
Additional secrets involving the other elves will remain secret for now however all of YOUR personal information has been given up already.

Here is to Christmas paranoia!

Take A walk On Air

Have some fun this summer, go to the grand canyon and walk out over the rim. This is the official site http://www.destinationgrandcanyon.com/indexe.html of the walk that the HUALAPAI NATION is installing.

My master won't take it, ladders and step stools scare him, but you could go and see and become encased by the wonder of it all.

Later.

Do You Really Need That TV Set?

In a year or two the way that television signals are sent will change, read more here http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2007/03/13/MNGRHOK7S01.DTL. Question is, do we all really need to receive digital idiot box signals?

Here is my masters plan, when the analog thing quits he uses the TV for movies via the VCR and CD player. Also he can use a PlayStation or an Nintendo or some such. News can be received over the Internet, five minutes to get the same tired old stuff that broadcasters now take an hour to push out.

No advertisers gunk or other time wasters. Might even take up book reading all the while wondering just why it is we have people starving in the cold when congress sets aside 900 million plus for a singe entertainment system?

That's how we see it.
